Major Concept: Job Analysis - Examines what people do, how they do it and the results they achieve. A job may be thought of as a set of interrelated tasks, activities and responsibilities. Task Analysis - Examines the steps and sub-steps required to successfully complete a task. A task my be thought of as a set of interrelated steps. Content Analysis - May be thought of as a literature review. A content analysis will help you to identify (1) skills and knowledge; (2) important topics and facts; (3) how the information should or could be sequenced. |
